The Brewers, on the other hand, saw their preseason record adjust to an even 14-14 following the contest. Mariners' Offensive Showcase

The Mariners displayed an impressive offensive performance throughout the game, accumulating a total of 16 hits. A significant highlight was their explosive eighth inning where they scored seven runs on seven hits. This late-game surge was pivotal in securing their victory over the Brewers. The team's batting average stood out at .400 for this game, with extra-base hits contributing heavily to their slugging percentage of .800. Four home runs were part of this offensive onslaught, showcasing the Mariners' power hitting capabilities.

Notable performances came from several players; Ryan Tellez hit an impressive .750 including extra-base hits that contributed to his slugging percentage of 1.25 and OPS (on-base plus slugging) of 2.0. Caleb Raleigh also shone brightly with a batting average of .600 and managed to cross home plate twice himself.

Brewers' Efforts Not Enough

Despite falling short in this matchup, the Brewers had moments worth noting as well. They managed six runs off eight hits but were unable to keep pace with the Mariners’ scoring bursts. Their efforts in innings three and six where they scored two runs each showed promise but ultimately couldn't counteract Seattle's powerful offense.

Milwaukee’s pitching struggled against Seattle’s hitters as evidenced by allowing ten earned runs across nine innings pitched for an overall ERA (earned run average) of 4.00 during this contest.
