With a total of 11 hits compared to the Giants' seven, they showed better batting performance but couldn't capitalize on all their opportunities. Caleb Raleigh stood out for his exceptional performance by securing three hits from four at-bats and maintaining an impressive on-base percentage of .800. His efforts were crucial in building momentum for Seattle. Julio Rodríguez also made significant contributions with two home runs that added much-needed energy to his team's lineup.

Their ability to leverage opportunities was further highlighted by maintaining a solid defense that committed only one error throughout nine innings.


The pitching staff of both teams had moments of brilliance with Seattle's pitchers striking out nine batters while San Francisco's pitchers managed six strikeouts against Mariners hitters.
