First Inning

The game began with an early lead for Baltimore as they scored 1 run off 3 hits in the first inning. The Mariners struggled to find their rhythm offensively, unable to register any hits or runs during this period. The Emerald City's defense held firm after that initial run but couldn't prevent Baltimore from setting an early tone.

Second Inning

In response, Seattle managed to level things up in the second inning with a solo home run by Rowdy Tellez. This was one of only seven hits for the M’s throughout the entire game and their sole scoring moment. Meanwhile, Baltimore's pitching kept Seattle's batters largely contained despite some pressure situations.

Fifth Inning

As play continued into later innings, Baltimore regained control by adding another run in both the fifth and sixth innings through strategic hitting and exploiting gaps left by Seattle’s defense. The Mariners’ bullpen worked hard but allowed these crucial runs that widened Baltimore’s lead.

Ninth Inning

The ninth inning saw further action from Baltimore as they sealed their win with two additional runs off four hits against Seattle's bullpen. Despite efforts from players like J.P Crawford who maintained solid fielding performance throughout with no errors recorded on his part, it wasn't enough to turn things around for Seattle.
