First Inning

The game began with a strong showing from the Mariners’ offense. They quickly took control by scoring three runs on four hits in the first inning. Julio Rodríguez and J.P. Crawford were instrumental during this period, both contributing significantly to their team's early advantage. Rodríguez's performance was particularly noteworthy with his perfect batting average of 1.000 and an OPS of 2.0 from his previous game stats.

Second Inning

In response, the Angels managed to put two runs on the board during their turn at bat in the second inning, narrowing Seattle's lead to one run. The M’s continued their offensive efforts with another run scored thanks to Randy Arozarena's consistent hitting prowess—he maintained an impressive .600 batting average from his last outing.

Third and Fourth Innings

As play progressed into these innings, both teams showcased solid defensive plays that kept additional scoring opportunities at bay for some time. However, it was evident that Luis Castillo struggled slightly on mound duty; despite striking out five batters over five innings pitched previously (with a K/9 rate of nine), he allowed multiple hits which contributed towards Los Angeles’ comeback efforts.
