Can Mariners' Ninth-Inning Rally Overcome Diamondbacks at Chase Field?

First Inning


The game began with both teams testing each other's defenses. The D-Backs took an early lead by scoring one run on two hits, setting a competitive tone for the rest of the innings. Meanwhile, the M’s struggled to find their rhythm and went hitless in their first inning.


Second to Eighth Innings


As the game progressed into these middle innings, both teams displayed solid defensive plays. On their part, Arizona's defense was impenetrable through these innings as they allowed no runs from Seattle and maintained pressure on their opponents by adding another run in the fifth inning and two more in seventh inning.


Ninth Inning
