First Inning

The Mariners set the tone early in the first inning with a powerful display at bat. A home run by Cal Raleigh brought in two runs, giving Seattle an immediate lead. This early advantage was crucial as it put pressure on the Pirates from the outset. The M’s capitalized on this momentum, maintaining control throughout the game.

Middle Innings

As the game progressed into the middle innings, both teams struggled to add runs to their tally. However, Seattle's pitching staff held firm against any advances from Pittsburgh's lineup. Bryan Woo delivered an impressive performance on the mound for Emerald City, maintaining a perfect earned run average and allowing only three hits over six innings pitched.

In contrast, Pittsburgh's offense found it difficult to break through Seattle’s defense. Despite some solid contact made by key players like Ke’Bryan Hayes and Bryan Reynolds, they were unable to convert these opportunities into runs due largely to effective fielding by J.P Crawford and his teammates.

Late Innings

Seattle continued its dominance into late innings when Randy Arozarena hit another home run in sixth inning extending their lead further while Dylan Moore added two more RBIs during seventh inning sealing victory for Mariner fans present at T-Mobile Park that day witnessing such spectacular performances across board especially given how tightly contested games have been between these two clubs historically speaking making this win all more satisfying one indeed!
