In an impressive display of offense at loanDepot park, the Marlins showcased resilience and skill. The team accumulated eight hits and capitalized on their opportunities with runners in scoring position. A pivotal moment came during the sixth inning when the Marlins erupted for three runs, turning the tide of the game. Their ability to hit with runners in scoring position was evident as they notched four hits out of fourteen at-bats in these clutch situations.

Miami's hitters also demonstrated patience at the plate by drawing six walks throughout the game. This discipline contributed to their .368 on-base percentage and played a crucial role in building pressure on San Francisco's pitching staff. Additionally, aggressive baserunning paid dividends for Miami as they successfully stole three bases without being caught.

On defense, despite committing one error which did not lead to any unearned runs, Miami maintained composure and executed plays when needed most. The fielding efforts were highlighted by an efficient double play that helped contain any potential rallies from San Francisco.

Pitching was another area where Miami excelled; starter Ryan Weathers earned his second win of the season thanks to a solid outing that included ten strikeouts over six innings pitched. The bullpen held firm as well with Calvin Faucher and Burch Smith both securing holds before Tanner Scott closed out the game for his second save despite having one blown save this season.
