The Marlins' offense struggled throughout the game, managing eight hits but failing to convert any into runs. Despite reaching base multiple times, including a double and seven singles, they left ten runners on base. The team's batting average was .250 for the game with an on-base percentage of .273 and slugging percentage of .281. They faced challenges in key situations, going one for five with runners in scoring position.

Miami's pitching staff had moments of effectiveness but ultimately gave up three earned runs over eight innings pitched. The bullpen contributed 2.1 innings without allowing any runs and posted an impressive strikeout rate of 11.574 per nine innings while maintaining a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Innings Pitched) of 1.7143.

On defense, the Marlins were flawless with no errors recorded during the game and turned no double plays while posting a perfect fielding percentage (FPCT) of 1.0.

The Braves capitalized in the fourth inning when they scored all three runs off six hits including one home run which proved decisive in this low-scoring affair.

Bryce Elder claimed victory for Atlanta with his first win of the season while Ryan Weathers took his second loss for Miami despite some solid pitching that included only one strikeout but limited walks to three over nearly six innings pitched.

Fans witnessed clear skies at Truist Park as temperatures hovered around 59 degrees Fahrenheit during playtime under sunny conditions which later cleared up even more as night fell upon Atlanta.

Looking ahead, fans can catch the next matchup between these two teams scheduled at Truist Park on April 23rd at 7:20 PM Eastern Time where they can tune into BSSO network to follow live action as Miami Marlins seek redemption against their division rivals Atlanta Braves.
