The game remained scoreless through the first six innings as both teams struggled to find their rhythm offensively. The Marlins managed only four hits during this period while keeping their defense tight and error-free. The Diamondbacks also had difficulty breaking through Miami's pitching, accumulating just four hits by the end of the sixth inning.

In the seventh inning, Miami's offense finally came alive. They recorded three hits and scored all three of their runs in this pivotal inning. Despite an error during this frame, they capitalized on opportunities to take control of the game. This surge was crucial for Miami as it provided them with a lead they would not relinquish.

Arizona responded in the eighth inning with one run but could not muster enough offense to challenge Miami's lead further. They ended up with six hits overall but failed to convert these into more runs due to solid pitching from Miami’s bullpen.

Miami’s starting pitcher delivered an impressive performance over six innings without allowing any runs and striking out seven batters while giving up only four hits and one walk. Their bullpen continued this strong showing by allowing just two more hits and one run over three innings while striking out four batters.

On defense, both teams were relatively clean; however, Arizona committed one error compared to none by Miami which may have contributed to their inability to mount a comeback late in the game.

Ryan Weathers earned his third win for Miami while Kevin Ginkel took his first loss for Arizona despite holding them scoreless until that fateful seventh inning where things unraveled quickly for him and his team’s hopes dimmed significantly thereafter.

Tanner Scott secured his seventh save after closing out ninth inning effectively ensuring no further damage from Arizona side thus sealing victory firmly under belt marlin squad who now look forward next challenge awaiting them San Diego Padres PETCO Park scheduled May 27th at 10:40 PM EDT broadcasted SDPA network fans can tune support team hoping continue momentum gained recent triumphs
