Fifth Inning


The fifth inning saw another surge from New York as they added two more runs courtesy of timely hitting and capitalizing on defensive errors by Los Angeles. Brett Baty's presence was felt as he played a crucial role in advancing runners into scoring positions which eventually paid off when Pete Alonso drove them home with precision batting.


Ninth Inning


As tensions rose towards what seemed like an inevitable victory for New York heading into later innings; however things took unexpected turns starting from ninth where Dodgers clawed back into contention thanks largely due contributions made by Mookie Betts whose single ignited rally leading up tying scoreline before entering extra frames
