First Inning

The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Mets managed only one hit in the first inning while keeping the Rockies hitless. Kodai Senga took to the mound for the Amazins and displayed his prowess early on by maintaining control and preventing any scoring opportunities for Colorado.

Third Inning

By the third inning, both teams had yet to score until Ryan McMahon of the Blake Street Bombers broke through with a run off two hits. This gave Colorado an early lead and put pressure on New York's lineup to respond. Despite this setback, Senga remained composed on the mound, ensuring no further damage was done.

Seventh Inning

The seventh inning marked a turning point for New York as they finally found their stride offensively. Pete Alonso led an impressive rally that resulted in two runs from three hits, swinging momentum back towards his team. This surge was crucial as it not only tied up the game but also set up an exciting finish.

Ninth Inning

In what proved to be a decisive ninth inning for New York, Francisco Lindor and Jeff McNeil each contributed significantly by driving home runs that secured victory over their opponents. Their efforts were supported by Edwin Díaz's stellar pitching performance which closed out any hopes of another comeback from Colorado.
