Mets' Early Lead Fades as Braves Rally in Extra Innings at Truist Park

First Inning


The Mets started strong in the first inning. Pete Alonso made his presence felt early by driving in a run with one of his two hits for the night. This set an aggressive tone for New York as they took an initial lead over Atlanta.
