Mets' Sixth-Inning Surge Silences Brewers at Citi Field

The New York Mets improved their record to 50-38 with a narrow 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, who now stand at 48-39. The game, held under the lights at Citi Field, saw an attendance of 42,241 fans witnessing a tight contest that was decided in the later innings.

First Inning


Both teams started cautiously in the first inning with neither side able to register any runs or hits.
