Fourth Inning

By the fourth inning, both teams had added runs to their totals. The Mets scored two more runs thanks to consistent hitting from Brandon Nimmo and Francisco Lindor. Meanwhile, the Giants managed to put one run on the board in this inning but struggled against Kodai Senga's pitching.

Sixth Inning

The sixth inning saw both teams holding steady without any additional runs until late in this segment when Lindor once again showcased his batting skills by driving in two crucial runs for New York. This performance highlighted his impressive .750 average from previous games.

Seventh Inning

The pivotal moment came during an explosive seventh inning for New York where they scored four decisive runs that effectively sealed their victory over San Francisco. Brett Baty and Jeff McNeil were instrumental during this period as they capitalized on opportunities created by earlier plays.

Ninth Inning

In an attempt at a comeback during their final chance at bat, San Francisco managed two more runs but ultimately fell short against New York's bullpen prowess which maintained control throughout most innings despite some challenges faced earlier on by starter Senga who ended with an ERA of 9.0 from previous performances.
