In an effort to rally late in the ninth inning, Francisco Lindor managed another hit but it wasn't sufficient as San Diego added one more insurance run earlier that same frame. Gregory Soto and Ryan Helsley provided some relief pitching but couldn't prevent further damage from occurring.
