The game at Nationals Park was an exhibition of offensive might from the home team. The Washington Nationals amassed an impressive total of 17 hits throughout the game while maintaining a clean slate with zero errors. Their counterparts, the Nationals Futures, managed to gather 10 hits but were marred by an error that contributed to their downfall.

From the onset, it was clear that the home team had come prepared to make an emphatic statement. Although no runs were scored in the first inning despite 17 hits due to exceptional defensive plays and perhaps some luck for the visiting side, it set up what was going to be an onslaught from innings two through five. The second inning saw them break through with one run; they added three more in the third and reached peak performance in fourth inning scoring six runs before rounding off their scoring spree with another three runs in fifth.

The pitching staff for The Washington Nationals also deserves commendation as they kept The Washington Futures at bay until seventh inning when they finally conceded one run. It was too little too late for The Washington Futures as they couldn't muster any more offense against The Nationals' pitchers who showed resilience and control throughout nine innings of play.

Fans at National Park witnessed several standout performances including multiple players contributing RBIs and solid fielding that prevented any further errors after first inning mishap on part of The Washington Futures.

As we wrap up coverage on this pre-season encounter between these two teams from nation's capital, fans can look forward to more baseball action as regular season approaches. Remembering this dominant display by The Washington Nationals will surely excite fans about potential upcoming games broadcasted on MASN network during prime time hours under lights or sunny skies alike.
