Will Nationals' Momentum Overwhelm Marlins at loanDepot park?

In their last encounter with the Pittsburgh Pirates on April 1st, the Nationals fell short, scoring 4 runs to the Pirates' 8. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways for WSH. Their hitting statistics showed resilience and potential; they managed to secure 8 hits and demonstrated some power with an impressive home run. However, it was clear that their bullpen needed tightening as they posted a high ERA of 12.273 over just 3.2 innings pitched.

The Nationals' performance against Cincinnati Reds on March 31st was more encouraging despite another loss (5-6). They out-hit the Reds with a total of 9 hits and showcased their slugging capabilities by knocking out two home runs. The bullpen's ERA improved significantly in this game to 7.364 over another stint of just under four innings.

However, it was on March 30th that WSH truly shined against these same Reds in Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park – securing a win with a scoreline of 7-6. The batting lineup came alive as they tallied up an impressive total of eleven hits including one home run while maintaining an average above .300.

What stands out is WSH’s ability to steal bases successfully across these games – achieving perfect steal percentages in two matches and showcasing aggressive base running that could put MIA’s defense under pressure.

The Marlins will need to be wary; although they play host for this match-up, WSH has shown they can bring heat even when away from home turf. For Miami Marlins’ pitchers facing off against Washington’s hitters who seem ready to capitalize on any mistake thrown at them – it will be crucial not only for starters but also for relievers to maintain control throughout all nine innings.

Looking ahead towards April 28th at loanDepot park set for first pitch at precisely 1:40 PM Eastern Time Zone - fans should expect nothing less than an electrifying game filled with strategic plays both offensively and defensively from both teams involved.

Nationals supporters can catch all the action live where tension will undoubtedly be high as both teams vie for victory in what promises to be another thrilling chapter in MLB regular season play.
