On defense, Patrick Corbin pitched five innings with an ERA of 5.4 and managed to strike out opponents at a rate of 5.4 per nine innings despite taking a loss for his efforts. The bullpen saw mixed results; while Dylan Floro maintained an ERA of 0 over his appearance, Kyle Finnegan struggled with an ERA of 9.
