The team's lone run came in the third inning, which also saw one of their few hits leading to scoring. However, this effort was overshadowed by defensive errors and missed opportunities.

He demonstrated his potential as a key player by contributing significantly to his team's offensive efforts. On another note, Dylan Crews showcased exceptional performance by hitting .750 with an OPS of 1.75, including getting on base three out of four times he was at bat.

The bullpen didn't fare much better; Joseph La Sorsa recorded an ERA of 9 over his appearance.

The Mets capitalized on their opportunities throughout the game with ten runs scored off fourteen hits including three home runs that bolstered their lead against the Nationals' pitchers who struggled to contain New York's hitters.
