First Inning

The game began with both teams unable to score in the first inning. The Nationals managed one hit but were unable to capitalize on it. Meanwhile, the Brewers also recorded one hit but failed to bring any runners home.

Third Inning

The third inning proved pivotal as the Brew Crew exploded with six runs on six hits. This offensive surge was led by their ability to find gaps and capitalize on opportunities presented by Nats' pitching struggles. Despite an effort from Washington's batters, they could only muster one run during this period.

Sixth Inning

In an attempt to close the gap, Washington added another run in the sixth inning thanks to some strategic hitting that resulted in two hits and brought their total runs up by one more. However, Milwaukee's defense remained solid throughout this segment of play.

Seventh Inning

As we moved into later innings like seventh where each team scored once again - it became clear that while both sides had moments of brilliance; ultimately it was those early innings which set tone for rest match-up between these two clubs today!

Despite valiant efforts from players such as Riley Adams who showcased impressive stats including .667 average over three at-bats along with scoring twice himself – overall performance fell short compared against formidable opposition displayed here tonight within confines American Family Field itself!
