Did the Nationals' Pitching Struggles Open the Door for Padres' Early Inning Dominance?

First Inning


The Washington Nationals faced off against the San Diego Padres at Nationals Park, with both teams entering this matchup under different circumstances. Second Inning


In the second inning, San Diego continued to apply pressure on Washington's pitching staff. The Padres managed to add another run to their tally, bringing their total to 6 runs by this point in the game. Meanwhile, Washington struggled offensively and defensively, unable to respond effectively to San Diego's aggressive approach.


Third Inning
