In a game that showcased the Orioles' offensive capabilities, they tallied up a total of 12 hits. The first inning set the tone for Baltimore with three hits and two runs, despite an error that could have cost them early on. Their batting average for the game was an impressive .333, and they managed to get on base with a .359 percentage. The Orioles demonstrated power hitting as well by securing three home runs and four extra-base hits overall.

The standout performers for the Orioles included players who contributed significantly to their seven runs batted in (RBI). Clutch hitting was also on display as two RBIs were recorded with two outs, showing resilience under pressure. With six at-bats with runners in scoring position (RISP), they capitalized twice, which proved crucial in building their lead.

Defensively, the Orioles were flawless; no errors were recorded throughout nine innings of play. They turned two double plays and had twelve assists which helped keep the Twins' scoring opportunities limited.

On the mound for Baltimore was Dillon Tate who earned his first win of the season thanks to his relief pitching efforts. Craig Kimbrel secured his fourth save despite having one blown save this season already under his belt. The bullpen faced seventeen batters and struck out five while maintaining an earned run average (ERA) of just over four.

The Minnesota Twins did not go down without a fight though; they accumulated eleven hits but only managed to convert these into four runs due to strong defensive plays from Baltimore's side. Louie Varland took his third loss of the season after giving up six hits and two earned runs over less than five innings pitched.

As Oriole Park at Camden Yards begins preparations for another day of baseball action, fans are reminded that their next opportunity to see Baltimore take on Minnesota will be on April 16th at 6:35 PM Eastern Time. This matchup will be broadcasted live on MASN where fans can tune in to watch how this series continues to unfold.
