The Orioles entered the match with confidence but were quickly subdued by an aggressive Milwaukee offense that accumulated 15 hits. The home team's pitching staff struggled to contain the Brewers' hitters, resulting in an earned run average (ERA) of 11.0 for the game. Tyler Wells, who now holds a loss record of 2, was unable to suppress Milwaukee's batting lineup as they scored four runs during his time on the mound.

Baltimore's batters faced formidable opposition from Freddy Peralta, who secured his second win of the season for Milwaukee. The Orioles managed only six hits and one run throughout nine innings. Their sole run came in the fourth inning when they capitalized on three hits to briefly narrow their deficit.

Defensively, Baltimore committed one error which contributed to their challenges on-field and underscored a day where little went right for them defensively or offensively. Their fielding percentage stood at .972 after this encounter.

Despite these setbacks, there were some noteworthy efforts from Baltimore players. They maintained a perfect stolen base percentage with one successful steal and no pickoffs or caught stealing incidents recorded against them.
