The Orioles demonstrated their offensive strength early in the game, breaking through in the third inning with one run followed by an explosive fifth inning where they scored four runs. This surge was highlighted by significant contributions from their hitters who managed five extra-base hits during the game. The team's slugging percentage stood out at .645, complemented by an on-base plus slugging (OPS) of .959, indicating a highly productive day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Keegan Akin emerged as a key figure for the Orioles from the bullpen, securing his first win of the season. Akin's performance was pivotal in limiting the Yankees to just one run over 4.1 innings pitched, showcasing an impressive earned run average (ERA) of 2.077 for this appearance and striking out six batters.

On defense, both teams committed one error each; however, it was Baltimore's ability to execute two double plays that underscored their defensive efficiency alongside their offensive fireworks.

The New York Yankees managed to score in only two innings - once in both third and sixth innings - reflecting struggles against Baltimore’s pitching staff which maintained a collective ERA of 2.0 across nine innings while striking out eleven batters.
