The Orioles demonstrated a strong offensive and defensive game, accumulating 11 hits and maintaining a flawless fielding percentage with zero errors. Their performance was highlighted in the sixth inning when they capitalized on their opportunities to score all three of their runs. This pivotal inning was marked by an impressive display of hitting that saw four hits contribute significantly to taking the lead.

Baltimore's pitching staff also played a crucial role in this victory. The bullpen delivered an outstanding performance, allowing no runs over four innings and striking out nine batters across nine innings total. Cionel Pérez earned the win for his efforts from the bullpen, contributing to keeping Tampa Bay's hitters at bay.

On the other side, Tampa Bay struggled offensively against Baltimore's pitchers. They managed only five hits throughout the game and scored their lone run in the second inning. Despite these efforts, they couldn't overcome Baltimore's defense or capitalize on scoring opportunities as effectively as needed.
