The game saw significant contributions from both teams' players. The Orioles showcased their power at the plate with three home runs contributing to their total run tally. Their ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities was evident as they managed to drive in six RBIs throughout the game. A standout performance came from their hitting department, which posted a .250 batting average and an impressive .556 slugging percentage.

Pitching played a pivotal role in securing the victory for the Orioles. Their bullpen was particularly effective, allowing no runs over 3.1 innings pitched and maintaining a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Inning Pitched) of just 0.6. Cole Irvin claimed his sixth win of the season with a solid pitching performance that included striking out eight batters across nine innings while holding an ERA (Earned Run Average) of 2.00 for this game.

The Rays fought valiantly but were unable to overcome the deficit created by early Orioles' scoring bursts in the second and fifth innings where they scored two runs each time before sealing their victory with another two-run inning in the eighth. Aaron Civale took his fifth loss of the season for Tampa Bay despite his team's effort that saw them also hitting three doubles throughout this matchup.

As fans look forward to more action-packed games, they can mark their calendars for when Baltimore will next take on Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre on June 6th at 5:07 PM EST.
