Orioles Overwhelm Rangers with Dominant 11-2 Victory at Oriole Park

The Baltimore Orioles showcased their prowess in a commanding 11-2 victory over the Texas Rangers, improving their season record to 51-30. The Rangers, on the other hand, faced another setback, moving to a 37-44 record. The Orioles' offense was on full display as they amassed 14 hits and capitalized on every opportunity to score.

From the outset, the Orioles set the tone for the game with three runs in the first inning and continued their relentless attack with three more runs in both the third and fourth innings. Their performance was not just limited to batting; defensively, they were impeccable as well, committing no errors throughout the game. The pitching staff also contributed significantly to this win by limiting the Rangers to just two runs on twelve hits.

Highlighting individual performances for the Orioles were Heston Kjerstad and Cedric Mullins. Kjerstad's impressive .667 batting average included a home run and three RBIs, showcasing his critical role in bolstering Baltimore's offense. Mullins also shone brightly with an astonishing .750 batting average that included slugging at an impressive rate of 1.75.

On the mound for Baltimore was Corbin Burnes who earned his ninth win of the season thanks to a stellar performance that saw him post an ERA of 1.286 across seven innings pitched while striking out five batters.

The Texas Rangers struggled against Baltimore's offensive onslaught despite managing twelve hits themselves. Their efforts translated into only two runs scored late in the game during fourth and eighth innings which proved insufficient against a determined Orioles team.
