On the pitching side for Baltimore, Yennier Cano showcased his skills by winning his appearance without allowing any runs and striking out batters at an impressive rate of 18 strikeouts per nine innings pitched (K9), maintaining a perfect ERA of 0.0.


Despite their efforts, Detroit struggled to keep up after Baltimore's fifth-inning rally. The Tigers managed five hits over nine innings but were unable to capitalize on most opportunities presented to them.
