Throughout the nine innings, Baltimore struggled to gain momentum against their opponents. The team managed a modest six hits and was marred by an error that contributed to their challenges on the field. Despite these struggles, a moment of brilliance emerged when they scored their sole run of the game. However, this effort was dwarfed by Tampa Bay's relentless offense which accumulated twelve hits and turned those opportunities into seven runs, even as they too committed an error.

Cedric Mullins shone brightly for Baltimore with his remarkable performance at bat. Achieving an average of .500 including a home run that marked Baltimore's only score of the game. His on-base percentage hit .500 while his slugging percentage catapulted to 2.0, resulting in an On-base Plus Slugging figure of 2.5 from merely two at-bats.

Defensively speaking, Emmanuel Rivera made noteworthy contributions with flawless fielding execution that helped curb some of Tampa Bay's offensive efforts. Offensively, Jackson Holliday also made his mark by batting .333 and securing base one-third times he stepped up to bat.

The pitching front presented its own set of hurdles for Baltimore; Zachary Eflin took charge as starting pitcher but concluded his nearly six innings stint with an Earned Run Average of 4.765 after allowing three earned runs from Tampa Bay’s lineup – showcasing room for improvement in containing opposing hitters.
