In the first inning, both teams started cautiously. The Orioles managed to get one hit but failed to convert it into runs. Meanwhile, the Cards also recorded one hit without scoring any runs.

Second Inning

The second inning was pivotal for the O's as they capitalized on opportunities and scored three runs off four hits and an error by their opponents. This offensive burst was crucial in setting an early lead for Baltimore.

Third and Fourth Innings

The third inning saw no change in scores from either side as both teams struggled to find rhythm offensively. However, during the fourth inning, Baltimore added another run through three hits despite committing an error themselves.

On their part, St. Louis responded strongly in this period by scoring two runs from three hits which began closing down on Baltimore's lead significantly.

Fifth Inning

In what turned out to be a decisive fifth inning for St.Louis; they scored three more times thanks largely due to four well-timed hits that shifted momentum towards them entirely - putting pressure back onto home side who couldn't muster any response during this phase of play itself!

Sixth through Ninth Innings

Despite valiant efforts throughout remaining innings (sixth till ninth), neither team could alter scoreboard further until seventh when Cards managed another single run via two successful strikes against opposing pitchers' deliveries - sealing victory ultimately after nine intense rounds altogether!

Overall performance highlighted some standout individual contributions such as Ryan Mountcastle’s consistent batting average (.400) alongside Cedric Mullins’ impressive fielding percentage (1). On pitching front though Cade Povich struggled slightly given his earned run average stood high around mark set earlier within season itself already...
