Did Orioles' Second Inning Surge at George M. Steinbrenner Field Fall Short Against Rays?

First Inning


The opening inning saw both teams starting cautiously, as neither managed to score any runs. The O's had one hit but couldn't capitalize on it, while the Rayhawks mirrored this performance with one hit as well.


Second Inning


The second inning was where things heated up for Baltimore. The Birds exploded offensively, scoring all their eight runs in this single inning. With six hits and taking advantage of an error by Tampa Bay's defense, they seemed poised for dominance early on.


Third Inning


However, momentum shifted dramatically in favor of Tampa Bay during the third inning when they responded with three runs from three hits against Baltimore’s pitching lineup that struggled to maintain control.


Fourth and Fifth Innings
