The pitching staff played a crucial role in securing this victory for the Padres. On Boston's side, despite their struggle to keep up with San Diego's offense, they showed resilience throughout the match. Tanner Houck took responsibility for Boston’s pitching efforts but unfortunately recorded his sixth loss of the season.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting matchup as the San Diego Padres are scheduled to face off against The Boston Red Sox once again at Fenway Park on June 30th at 1:35 PM EDT.
