However, it was Xander Bogaerts who finally put San Diego on the scoreboard with a crucial hit that drove in their only run of the game.

Milwaukee extended their lead in this inning by adding another run thanks to three well-timed hits against Padres' bullpen pitcher Adrian Morejon who struggled throughout his appearance.
