The Phillies started strong with a run in the first inning and maintained their momentum by adding another run in the fifth. Their resilience was further displayed as they pushed the game into extra innings, scoring one run in the tenth and securing their victory with two decisive runs in the eleventh inning. The team's hitting statistics were notable; they managed to secure seven hits throughout the game. Their performance on base was highlighted by two home runs that significantly contributed to their total of five runs batted in (RBI). Despite facing challenges at bat with an average (.179) and on-base plus slugging (OPS) standing at .597, they capitalized on crucial moments to bring runners home.

On defense, the Phillies demonstrated exceptional skill by not committing any errors during play. Their fielding percentage stood firm at 1.0, complemented by eight assists and one double play executed flawlessly.

The bullpen played a pivotal role for Philadelphia as well; Orion Kerkering’s performance was critical despite facing pressure that led to two blown saves across three save opportunities this season. Seranthony Domínguez secured his first save out of four opportunities this season under challenging conditions.

In contrast, the Orioles put up a valiant effort but fell short despite out-hitting Philadelphia with eight hits to seven and matching them defensively with no errors committed throughout eleven innings. They managed to score once each during the third and eighth innings before pushing through for another run in extra innings but couldn't overcome Philadelphia's late surge.
