Notably, their performance at bat was impressive with an average of .349 and an on-base percentage (OBP) of .404. The team's slugging percentage stood at .581, highlighting their ability to hit for power as well as precision.

On the defensive side, Aaron Nola led the pitching staff with a win attributed to his name after delivering a strong performance over seven innings. His efforts contributed significantly to limiting the Tigers to just one run across nine innings. The bullpen also played its part flawlessly; over two innings pitched they maintained a perfect earned run average (ERA) of 0.0.

The Detroit Tigers managed seven hits but struggled to convert these opportunities into runs due largely to effective pitching from both Nola and relievers from Philadelphia's bullpen. Casey Mize took the loss for Detroit after allowing multiple runs early on which set back his team significantly.
