From the mound for Philadelphia came Matt Strahm who secured a win from the bullpen without allowing any runs across his stint and impressively striking out batters at an average rate of nine per nine innings pitched while maintaining a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Innings Pitched) of zero.


Despite their defeat, the Astros displayed commendable resilience by scoring all their runs in just one inning but struggled to break through against Philadelphia's pitchers who collectively maintained an ERA (Earned Run Average) of 1.8 over ten innings pitched.
