The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Phillies and the Cardinals each went scoreless in the first three innings, as both starting pitchers showcased impressive control and command on the mound. The turning point came during an action-packed seventh inning when Philadelphia finally broke through St. Louis' defense. With two outs and runners on base, Bryce Harper delivered a crucial hit that brought home two runs for Philly—his contribution proving vital in shifting momentum towards his team’s favor.


Eighth Inning


In response during their half of eighth inning playtime; however unsuccessful attempts from key batters like Nolan Arenado left them trailing behind still without any additional scores added onto scoreboard yet again despite having another chance presented before them earlier within same timeframe too!

Heading into ninth frame - tension mounted high among fans present inside stadium eagerly anticipating final outcome while witnessing intense battle unfold between these two competitive squads vying hard against each other till very end!
