Their hitting statistics showed an average of .219 with a total of three runs batted in (RBI) and one home run contributing to their efforts. Marcus Semien had an exceptional game for the Rangers, achieving a perfect batting average of 1.000 and an OPS of 2.0 during his appearances at bat. Corey Seager also made significant contributions with a batting average of .500 and an impressive slugging percentage leading to an OPS of 1.75.

On the pitching side, Andrew Heaney took on much of the workload for Texas but ended up with a loss, recording an earned run average (ERA) of 3.6 across five innings pitched while striking out nine batters per nine innings pitched.


The Astros countered effectively throughout the match, particularly during their three-run burst in the sixth inning which ultimately sealed their victory over Texas. Their pitchers managed to limit Texas's ability to score despite several opportunities presented by walks and hits allowed.
