The Rangers' offense managed to gather 10 hits throughout the game, translating into two crucial runs. Marcus Semien stood out by hitting a home run and driving in one of those runs, showcasing his power at a critical moment for his team. Semien's performance was complemented by Nathaniel Lowe and Andrew Knizner, who both hit an impressive .667 average for the game. Lowe's on-base plus slugging (OPS) reached an outstanding 1.75, highlighting his significant contribution to the team's offensive efforts.

On the mound for the Rangers was Maxwell Scherzer, who delivered an exceptional start with an earned run average (ERA) of 1.5 over six innings pitched. Scherzer struck out batters at a rate of 13.5 per nine innings and maintained a whip of just 0.6667, limiting the White Sox hitters effectively throughout his appearance.

Despite their efforts, Chicago could only muster five hits against Texas pitching staff led by Scherzer’s commanding performance on mound which limited them to just one run across nine innings.
