Rangers' Pitching Performance


The Rangers showcased strong pitching throughout the game, limiting the Motor City Kitties to just 3 hits. Patrick Corbin started on the mound for Texas and delivered a solid performance with an earned run average (ERA) of 2.571 over seven innings pitched. He allowed only three hits and struck out three batters, maintaining a walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP) of 1.0.


Jacob Webb took over in relief and continued to stifle Detroit's offense with his impressive ERA of 0.0 across one inning pitched. Webb managed two strikeouts without allowing any hits or runs, demonstrating his effectiveness out of the bullpen.

Despite their strong showing on defense, Texas struggled offensively against Detroit's pitchers who held them to just three hits as well.
