The Rays started strong in the second inning with two hits and three runs, setting an early lead. However, their momentum slowed down as they managed only one hit each in the third and fourth innings without adding any more runs. The seventh inning saw a brief resurgence with two hits and one run, followed by another single hit and run in the ninth inning.
