The bullpen also played a crucial role in securing this win for Tampa Bay with Jason Adam and Kevin Kelly both contributing significantly without allowing any earned runs and maintaining their ERAs at 0.0 throughout their appearances.


Despite facing strong opposition from Washington Nationals' pitchers who limited them to just one unearned run throughout nine innings, it was Tampa Bay’s ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities that made all the difference.
