First Inning

The opening inning saw both teams starting cautiously. The Rays managed to get one hit but couldn't convert it into runs. Meanwhile, the Fish also recorded two hits but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.

Third Inning

In an otherwise quiet start for both teams, Tampa Bay's only run came during this inning. Yandy Díaz contributed with an RBI that put the Rayhawks on the scoreboard first. However, this early lead was short-lived as Miami's defense held strong thereafter.

Fourth Inning

This inning proved pivotal for Miami as they surged ahead with three runs from three hits. The Marlins capitalized on some defensive lapses by Tampa Bay and took control of the game with aggressive base running and timely hitting.

Sixth Inning

Miami extended their lead further in this inning by adding two more runs from one hit, showcasing their ability to exploit any openings left by Tampa Bay's pitching staff. Despite efforts from Cole Sulser who maintained a solid performance with an ERA of 0.0 and WHIP of 0.5 over his innings pitched, it wasn't enough to stem the tide against Miami's offense.

Ninth Inning

As we entered into what would be Tampa Bay’s final chance at bat, they were unable to mount any significant comeback effort against Miami’s bullpen which had effectively shut down any offensive threats since their lone score earlier in play.
