Did the Rays' Ninth-Inning Surge Leave the Mets in Shadows at Citi Field?

First Inning


The game began with both teams feeling each other out. The Rays managed to get one hit but couldn't convert it into runs. Meanwhile, the Amazins also struggled to find their rhythm against Tampa Bay's pitching staff, recording only one hit and no runs.


Second Inning


Tampa Bay took control in the second inning with a strategic offensive push that resulted in three runs from two hits. This early lead set the tone for what would be a dominant performance by the Rayhawks throughout the game.


Third Inning
