Sixth Inning


Boston showed signs of life in the sixth inning when they managed to score three runs thanks to timely hitting from Marcelo Mayer and Romy González. Mayer’s performance was particularly noteworthy as he hit his first home run of this season during this rally.


Seventh Inning


The seventh inning continued Boston’s momentum as they added another two runs narrowing down New York’s lead significantly. Jarren Duran contributed with a crucial double that energized Red Sox Nation and gave hope for a comeback.

Final Innings
