First Inning

The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm offensively. The Red Sox were unable to get on base, while the Blue Jays managed only one hit in their opening inning. Both teams' defenses held strong, keeping the scoreboard blank.

Sixth Inning

A pivotal moment came during the sixth inning when Toronto's bats came alive. The Blue Birds scored all six of their runs in this inning, capitalizing on three hits and an error by Boston. This offensive burst put significant pressure on the visiting team and proved to be a decisive turning point in what was otherwise a tightly contested match.

Seventh Inning

In response, Boston found some momentum in the seventh inning as they finally broke through Toronto’s defense. Masataka Yoshida contributed significantly by getting on base with one of his two hits for the night, helping drive home Boston’s sole run of the game. Despite this effort from Yoshida and his teammates, it wasn't enough to close down Toronto’s lead.

Final Innings

As both teams entered into their final innings, neither side managed further scoring opportunities. The Red Sox had four hits throughout but couldn't convert these into additional runs due largely due to effective pitching from Toronto's bullpen which maintained control over proceedings until closing out victory for them.
