First Inning

The game commenced with both teams displaying strong defensive efforts. The Reds managed to get one hit but were unable to capitalize on it, leaving runners stranded. Meanwhile, the Guardians also went scoreless in their first attempt, setting a competitive tone for the innings ahead.

Third Inning

In an exciting turn of events during the third inning, Will Benson of the Big Red Machine delivered a crucial performance by driving in two runs with his impressive .333 batting average and 1.666 OPS from previous games. This gave Cincinnati an early lead and showcased Benson's potential as a key player for future games.

Fourth Inning

The Tribe responded quickly in their half of the fourth inning with one run scored through strategic hitting that included two hits against Reds' pitching staff led by Julian Aguiar who had previously maintained an ERA of 4.5 and WHIP of 1.5.

Seventh Inning

As tension mounted into late innings, Cleveland's offense surged forward during their seventh inning rally where they added two more runs on top of another earlier score from sixth inning making it difficult for Cincinnati’s bullpen which struggled despite having notable strikeout rates like Rhett Lowder’s K9 rate standing at an impressive figure from prior performances.

Ninth Inning

Despite efforts by players such as Edwin Arroyo who had shown promising stats with .500 batting average previously; ultimately no further scoring occurred from either side leading up till final moments when game concluded after nine full innings played out under bright Arizona skies before crowd numbering over five thousand spectators present witnessing this preseason clash unfold between these storied franchises known respectively among fans simply as ‘Redlegs’ versus ‘G-Men’.
