In the first inning, both teams started cautiously. The Rockies' lineup struggled to find rhythm against the Phillies' pitching staff. Despite having seven hits throughout the game, they were unable to convert these into runs. Ryan McMahon and Ezequiel Tovar showed promise early on but couldn't break through Philadelphia's defense.

Fourth Inning

The fourth inning marked a turning point as the Phillies managed to score their first run. A combination of strategic hitting and capitalizing on fielding errors by the Rox allowed them to take a lead that they would not relinquish for the remainder of the game. Germán Márquez pitched effectively for Colorado but was let down by defensive lapses that contributed significantly to Philadelphia's scoring.

Seventh Inning

As we moved into the seventh inning, another run from Philadelphia extended their lead further. This time it was due in part to consistent pressure applied by their hitters combined with another error from Colorado's side. Despite this setback, Tyler Kinley came out strong from Colorado’s bullpen with an impressive performance that kept further damage at bay.

Ninth Inning

In what turned out be an intense ninth inning showdown between these two teams; however despite some late efforts made by players like Brenton Doyle who maintained his high batting average (.667), it wasn't enough for any comeback attempt against solid pitching displayed throughout all innings played today which included no home runs being hit either side during entire duration match-up held here Denver city limits under perfect weather conditions enjoyed everyone present watching live action unfold before eyes!
