On defense, Kansas City displayed flawless fielding without committing any errors throughout nine innings while turning one double play.


The Toronto Blue Jays showcased resilience by overcoming their early deficit to rally back into contention as they scored two runs each in both first and third innings followed by single-run efforts in fifth and sixth innings for their six total runs on twelve hits despite committing one error.
