First Inning

The game began with promise for K.C., as they quickly took control in the first inning. Vinnie Pasquantino led off with a single, setting up an opportunity that was capitalized on by Bobby Witt Jr., who also singled. The Royals managed to score their first run of the night thanks to these early efforts, putting pressure on Seattle's defense right from the start.

Middle Innings

As the innings progressed, both teams struggled to convert opportunities into runs. The Boys in Blue maintained their slim lead through solid pitching and defense. Noah Cameron started strong on the mound for K.C., delivering consistent pitches that kept Seattle's hitters at bay through four innings without allowing any runs.

However, despite their initial momentum, K.C.'s bats went quiet during this stretch. Drew Waters and Maikel Garcia were unable to find success at bat, contributing to a series of quick outs that stalled potential rallies.

Sixth Inning

The tide began turning in favor of Seattle during the sixth inning when they finally broke through against Kansas City's bullpen. A combination of singles allowed them to score their first run of the game, narrowing K.C.'s lead and shifting momentum towards Emerald City.

Seventh Inning

Seattle continued their offensive push into the seventh inning with two more runs scored off hits from Ty France and Julio Rodríguez. These pivotal moments not only erased Kansas City's lead but also put them behind for good as they struggled defensively against this surge from M’s lineup.
